Sept. 1 when federally proposed road-testing procedures are adopted
calling for a full, walk-around pre-trip inspection and the addition of
offset backing to the basic control skills section of the test.

AMENDMENTS TO DRIVER ED RULES ADOPTED. Driver and Vehicle Services has amended several administrative rules relating to driver education, and with their publication in the State Register on November 23, the amended rules are now law. "GOLD STAR FAMILY" PLATE HONORS MINNESOTANS KILLED IN ACTIVE MILITARY DUTY. Surviving spouses or parents of a fallen soldier may display "Gold Star Family" license plates beginning October 1. Apply by mail or at a deputy registrar office. The plates are subject to standard fees, but carry no additional charge. (more) |

TEEN DRIVING LIMITATIONS
